A Classic Bohemian Military March — Arranged for Concert Band by Marc Oliver
Julius Fučík (1872–1916) was one of the most gifted Bohemian march composers of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, best known today for his Entry of the Gladiators. Die Regimentskinder ("The Regiment's Children") is one of his finest military marches — a bold, proud piece in the grand Central European march tradition, with a commanding main theme and a warmly singing trio that provide the perfect contrast of martial energy and lyrical beauty. It is a rewarding and crowd-pleasing addition to any concert band program.
This edition presents Die Regimentskinder in a concert band arrangement by Marc Oliver.
