About Frank W. Losey

Frank W. Losey (1870–1922) was an American composer and bandmaster active in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, whose marches and band works were widely performed during the golden age of the American concert band. Working in the tradition of Sousa and his contemporaries, Losey contributed a body of march literature that reflects the energy, craftsmanship, and civic pride that defined American band culture at its height.
