A Promise to Stand By — An Original Work by Benjamin Ayotte

🎵 Listen Before You Buy

A Promise to Stand By is an original composition by Benjamin Ayotte, commissioned by Robert Bush and the Band Boosters of Divine Child High School (Dearborn, MI) in honor of the 50th Anniversary of the Divine Child Band Program. The work is dedicated to the memory of Blaise Hebert and Bethany Galdes, two Divine Child students who passed away during their high school years. It is a piece of genuine emotional depth — a musical promise of remembrance, loyalty, and the enduring bonds that a school community carries forward through time.

Lyrical, heartfelt, and carefully crafted, A Promise to Stand By is equally at home as a concert centerpiece, a memorial program selection, or a meaningful closer for any band event. Its accessible writing and expressive character make it a rewarding experience for performers and audiences alike.
