Bruckner's Radiant Sacred Motet — Arranged by Zak Rahal
Anton Bruckner (1824–1896) composed his Ave Maria, WAB 6, in 1861 for seven-part a cappella chorus. It is one of the most radiant and spiritually luminous sacred motets in the choral repertoire — a work of extraordinary harmonic richness and devotional warmth that reflects Bruckner’s deep Catholic faith at its most intimate and sincere. The flowing, arching vocal lines and shimmering harmonic progressions create an atmosphere of transcendent beauty that has made this Ave Maria one of the most beloved of all Bruckner’s choral works.
This edition presents Bruckner’s Ave Maria in an arrangement by Zak Rahal, ideal for choral ensembles, sacred concerts, and liturgical programs.
