A Beloved Christmas Carol — For Treble and Women's Chorus

"Good King Wenceslas" is one of the most cherished carols of the Christmas season, its stirring narrative of royal generosity and winter charity beloved by audiences of all ages. Based on a medieval poem set to a 13th-century spring carol melody, it has been a staple of holiday choral programming for generations.

This edition presents the carol in an arrangement by Lucyanne Gordon for treble and women's chorus, crafted with the idiomatic clarity and expressive warmth that characterize all of Gordon's work for treble voices. Whether performed by a high school choir, collegiate women's ensemble, or community chorus, this arrangement brings festive energy and seasonal joy to any holiday concert program.
