Eudoxia Ypsilanti - France For Four
A Charming French-Inspired Quartet by Eudoxia Ypsilanti
France For Four by Eudoxia Ypsilanti is a delightful original work for four players, evoking the warmth, elegance, and joie de vivre of the French musical tradition. Whether drawing on the lilting grace of a French chanson, the sophistication of Parisian salon music, or the rustic charm of folk-inspired melody, the piece offers performers and audiences alike a musical journey through the spirit of France — charming, refined, and irresistibly engaging.
Written by an Athenian composer whose broad training spans harmony, counterpoint, orchestration, and film scoring, France For Four reflects Ypsilanti’s keen ear for color, character, and accessibility — a work that is as pleasurable to rehearse as it is to perform.
